This is the Lite version of The Hundreds Board with Sequences. The full version includes 5 Levels of difficulty as well as fully functional 100s Boards with all numbers available.

Sequencing numbers involves attention, processing, planning, thinking, persistence, and knowledge of basic maths and number concepts.
The Hundreds Board with Sequences App uses a unique method to motivate children to learn.
“Beautiful photos have been scrambled,
as you complete each number sequence correctly,
listen….
and look….
5 levels, 6 number sequences in each level,
after successful completion of each level,
share your success with friends and family and
view your photographic sequence.”

The app was inspired from the popularity of “The Hundreds Board.” It has been designed by a learning specialist, who needed children to practise the foundation skill in a meaningful way. The hundreds board is traditionally used in schools with children between the ages of 6 and 12.

Children are first engaged with a practice hundred’s board which allows children and their teachers the flexibility to choose their own numbers. As a child touches a number, it changes to blue, an odd number, or red an even number.
Each number a child touches is spoken aloud, and appears down the bottom of the screen. This helps children become “Number Fluent” (The ability to recognise numbers quickly and easily).
Children will begin the app at a very basic level of number sequences: 2, 5 and 10. Each level gradually increases in difficulty, level 5 is quite challenging!

• Press the information button on the home screen.
• After each number sequence, children listen to the sequence being read to them. Children are also told whether the numbers are increasing or decreasing, and by how much.
• The multi-sensory method reinforces learning.
• Progress bar helps visual learners to track their own progress.
• As each level is completed children are able to view Mr Phoso’s photo album, which shows the sequence of how the photos were unscrambled.

This creative method will accommodate all children, and encourage them to see number sequencing in a brand new light!
